Dearest GALA Families,
We are overwhelmed with the amazing response and donations that have been received from our GALA community. We have confirmed that 5 GALA student families have lost their homes and we expect that number to grow. Even as we continue to collect funds, we also wish to start dispersing this monetary support to those GALA five families that need immediate support. Please help us make sure every potential recipient is accounted for.

Like you, FoGALA is heartbroken by the destruction and anguish our city has experienced over the recent days. The images of loss and devastation are hard to comprehend. We will update our community if sadly more families come forward. To make a donation, please visit https://bit.ly/GALAFireFund. Right now, the greatest need for these families is monetary support as they look for places to stay, purchase the items they need for day-to-day life, and look to create some form of normalcy. Therefore, FoGALA is only accepting monetary donations at this time. 100% of your donations will go directly to the GALA families, teachers, and staff who have lost their homes.
In addition to monetary assistance, FoGALA will provide grocery gift cards and school uniforms to affected families. Thank you to everyone who has already stepped forward with offers of support.
