is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the support of the Girls Academic Leadership Academy, Dr. Michelle King School for STEM (GALA).
GALA provides a highly rigorous college preparatory STEM-focused education in an all-girls environment based on voluntary enrollment that fosters academic excellence, ethical leadership, and intellectual curiosity.
ALL GIRLS SCHOOLS
Research shows that all-girls schools develop the following:
1. Girls are self-confident and have strong leadership skills.
2. Girls graduate at a 30% higher rate than co-ed schools.
3. Girls graduate and go on to college at a 50% higher rate.
4. Girls are 6 times more likely to go into STEM college programs.
